Our Story.

Discount Building Materials began in 1983 in Amory, Mississippi and was started by Jimmy and Connie Sink. Jimmy’s two sons, Cliff and Jason, continued on the family business. Cliff and Dawn married in 1994 and started the Discount in Oxford, Mississippi. The business soon developed into not only a hardware store, but also a home and accent decor shop. Dawn followed her passion for interior decor and design and Inside Discount was born.

Cliff and Dawn Sink opened Inside Discount in 2002 to compliment the building materials. The shop has grown and evolved over the years into more than they could have ever dreamed. They are beyond grateful to see the ways the Lord has blessed them with the growth of Discount. From the excitement of spring decor to the joy of Christmas at Discount, the Sink’s have loved every step of the journey. Inside Discount is a very special place, and they hope that you will make the trip to come see them!
